While touring West Africa w/ BIA you will be exposed to soo much culture that it will be hard not to feel your ancestral connection to the place! Your trip price includes: - Accomodations in a traditional West African Villa.
- 2 meals a day
- Bamara, SouSou, and Wolof language lessons.
- Classes in drum and dance daily w/ artists from the National Ballet of Bamako, members of Merveille De Guinee, Ballet Matam, & members of Senegals National Ballets.
- Travel to the home of the scientifically inclined and very mysterious Dogon Tribe, the beautiful natural landscape known as Kindia, and the historical Goree Island in Dakar!
- Visit Mande, Kaolack, and Wossolon villages, as well as many other traditional villages throughout West Africa!
- Witness and learn about djembe drum making, as well as have opportunities to purchase some instruments.
- Learn about Mali's infamous Indigo print dying and purchase material if desired. There are also tailors in Guinea and Senegal. Have a traditional Djembefola hat made in Guinea!
